Speare Mailroom

Please note:  Speare is closed for Spring Move In, with all operations for Speare being done out of Cabot Center.

The hours of operation for Cabot Center will be a little different than those normally offered, and are as follows:

  • Monday, Jan 10th thru Thursday, Jan 13th: 9 AM to 6 PM
  • Friday, Jan 14th: 8 AM to 6 PM
  • Saturday, Jan 15th: 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Monday Jan 17th: 9 AM to 5 PM
  • Then starting on Jan 18th, Monday thru Friday: 8 AM to 7 PM, and Saturdays:  9 AM to 5 PM (subject to change, based on building availability)

Starting on January 10th, any package that had previously been tagged at Speare, will be located in Cabot for pickup….Speare will be COMPLETELY CLOSED.

Smart Lockers are located at these locations.


Please make sure you pay attention to the door opening, as they do not open very much, for safety reasons.


You cannot come back and retrieve your package at a later time….so only open your locker when you are ready to take your package with you.


If you miss your deadline to pick up your package, it will be removed from the locker, and put back into the Mail/Package worklow like other packages are handled….you will receive a follow up notification, telling you from which Mail Center to retrieve your package. 


Cullinane Hall Lockers  – located on the first floor, inside Room 140 just past the reception desk.

  *   Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM
  *   Saturday & Sunday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Curry Student Center Lockers – located in the tunnel at the intersection of Ell Hall and Dodge Hall.

     *   Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM – Midnight
     *   Friday 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
     *   Saturday 8:00 AM – 11:00 PM
     *   Sunday 10:00 AM -Midnight

Davenport B Lockers – located inside the lobby entrance, on the left-hand side before the proctor station

   *   Monday to Sunday 6:00 AM – 3:00 AM

 Stetson West Lockers – located on the first floor above Outtakes before the proctor station

*   Monday to Sunday 6:00 AM – 3:00 AM

West Village G Lockers – located outside of Classroom 108

 *   Monday to Sunday 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM

300 Mass Ave. Lockers – located on the right-hand side of the first floor, once you get past the Security Desk

This locker bank is currently closed, and will reopen on January 10th, 2022.

International Village Lockers – located in the first-floor lobby, outside of the Residential Life Offices

When addressing mail and packages, do not forget to include the resident’s full name and mailbox number. Always use the complete mailing address. Mail and packages received with missing or incorrect name or address information will be subject to delivery delays.

As per our policy, ResMail does not accept perishable packages. Please see the FAQs for details.

For students living in residence halls, please ask anyone sending you mail or packages to use your complete campus address and the 02115 ZIP Code for the Speare side of campus and the 02120 ZIP Code for the Columbus Side campus to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Most Northeastern-owned residence halls have mail delivered by ResMail. However, all leased properties and some Northeastern-owned facilities are served directly by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

Off-campus housing is not handled by ResMail.
